Solar Training: Workshops for Businesses, Handymen and Homeowners at the Renewable Energy Roundup
Fredericksburg, TX – The Renewable Energy Roundup & Green Living Fair brings back their popular workshops that fast track solar careers, keep competitive businesses ahead of the curve and homeowners in the know on sustainable solar energy.
According to a July 2010 report by Dr. John Blackburn, former chancellor, Duke University and emeritus chair, economics department, electricity from new solar installations is now cheaper than electricity from proposed new nuclear plants. This development has profound implications for future growth of solar energy. “As “green market’ technologies evolve and move into mainstream America, solar training will be the cornerstone of the new economy,” said Janet Hughes, Executive VP Ontility. “Already concern is expressed that there may not be enough trained installers to meet demand as we move from early adoption to mass adoption of solar energy technology.” There is a workshop for every interest level at a variety of extremely competitive costs. To register go to www.theroundup.org.
Workshop for Businesses $1195 ($200 Roundup discount) CEU credits
Ontility has been training the green workforce for over two years. Ontility’s 40 hour S103 Workshop offers Solar Electric Training for Electricians and meets training requirements for NABCEP Certified PV Installer Certification and is ISDQ accredited. The 5-day workshop runs September 20 – 24.
