Touchstone Essentials is a B Corp supplement brand selling organic whole-food supplements alongside liquid drops and sprays of zeolite, a volcanic mineral marketed for detox.

Touchstone says its zeolite products remove the toxins and heavy metals people take in from food, water, and air, a claim that is hard to check before you buy.

Kim Udrea, from our testing team, took five Touchstone Essentials products daily for 4 weeks, then handed the rest to her aunt.

This Touchstone Essentials review is for wellness-minded shoppers comparing organic greens, vitamins, and zeolite detox before they buy.

What Are the Pros and Cons of Touchstone Essentials?

Kim unboxing her Touchstone products

Touchstone Essentials does best on certified organic ingredients, the taste of Super Green Juice, and the extra energy our tester felt in her first two weeks.

Its weak points are the frequent bathroom trips that ended our test early and the lack of human trials on the products themselves.

Pros

  • Fruity, juice-like taste of Super Green Juice, which mixes smoothly
  • Mild-tasting zeolite drops (Pure Body) and spray (Pure Body Extra)
  • USDA Organic seal on three of the five products we tested
  • More energy in our testing, from the first week
  • Amber glass bottles and recyclable, paper-based shipping materials
  • Certified B Corp company
  • Full refund on returns within 30 days
  • Payable with HSA or FSA funds, for qualified customers

Cons

  • Frequent bowel movements in our testing, bad enough to stop by week 4
  • Untested in published human trials, for all five products we tested
  • Pure Body supplies a small fraction of the zeolite dose used in clinical trials
  • Zeolite's FDA Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) status covers animal feed
  • Expensive, especially when buying all five products together
  • California Proposition 65 (Prop 65) warning on Super Green Juice

Most of these pros and cons trace back to Touchstone Essentials' two best-known product lines, organic plant blends and purified zeolite.

What Is Touchstone Essentials?

Touchstone Essentials is a family-owned supplement company that sells organic whole-food supplements and liquid zeolite detox products through its website, The Good Inside. Eddie Stone founded Touchstone in 2012 and runs the company as CEO from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Stone says he started Touchstone after his mother faced serious health problems linked to toxins, and removing toxins is still the focus of the zeolite range. Touchstone's stated mission is to reach five million families with its products.

Is Touchstone Essentials Legit?

Yes, Touchstone Essentials is a legitimate company with 14 years of trading and two independent checks on how it does business. The following organizations have assessed Touchstone.

  • B Lab: the nonprofit certified Touchstone Essentials as a B Corp in May 2025, with an overall score of 89.4 across governance, workers, community, environment and customers.
  • Better Business Bureau (BBB): the bureau has accredited Touchstone since September 2014 and rates the company A+.

The B Corp certification applies to Touchstone as a company, and the brand states that it is not a certification of any individual product. Each product Touchstone Essentials sells therefore needs to be judged on its own ingredients.

What Products Does Touchstone Essentials Sell?

Kim's packet of Super Green Juice

Touchstone Essentials sells 20 products and bundle packs, covering zeolite detox, organic greens, whole-food nutrition, gut health, weight management and plant protein.

Kim tested the following five products, including four of Touchstone's five best sellers.

Product Form Main ingredients Daily adult dose Certifications and claims
Super Green Juice Powder, 30 scoops 44 organic greens, grasses, berries, mushrooms and herbs, plus probiotics and enzymes 1 scoop of 10 g (0.35 oz), mixed into 8 to 10 fl oz (237 to 296 ml) of liquid USDA Organic, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free
Pure Body Liquid drops, 0.7 fl oz (20 mL) Micronized clinoptilolite zeolite and water 4 drops, 3 times a day Non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free
Pure Body Extra Liquid spray, 2 fl oz (60 mL) Nanosized clinoptilolite zeolite and water 4 sprays, 3 times a day Non-GMO, vegan, gluten-free
Essentials Capsules, 120 Organic guava, mango, lemon, acerola cherry, nutritional yeast and sea kelp 4 capsules with food USDA Organic, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free
Telo-Vital Capsules, 30 Organic curcumin-free turmeric, pomegranate, baical skullcap, hezi, gallnut, wheatgrass and blackcurrant extracts 1 capsule USDA Organic, vegan, non-GMO, gluten-free

Essentials supplies 100% to 160% of the Daily Value of 11 vitamins and minerals, including seven B vitamins, iodine, and zinc, all from whole-food ingredients. The two liquid zeolites are the closest pair in the range, so the difference between them is a common question.

What Is the Difference Between Pure Body and Pure Body Extra?

The difference between Pure Body and Pure Body Extra is the size of the zeolite particles inside, as well as how you take each one. Touchstone describes the two products as follows.

  • Pure Body: Pure Body drops contain micronized zeolite with an average particle size of 0.4 microns, sized so the larger particles stay in the gut and the smaller ones are absorbed into the body.
  • Pure Body Extra: Pure Body Extra spray contains nanosized zeolite held in water, sized to reach the body's cells.

Touchstone says most zeolite supplements use particles of 10 to 40 microns, which stay in the gut. Touchstone sells the two zeolites together as the Zeolite Detox Pack, a 30-day supply of both.

Both zeolite products come in amber glass bottles, one of several packaging choices behind Touchstone Essentials' sustainability claim.

Is Touchstone Essentials Sustainable?

Touchstone Essentials is a sustainable supplement brand in its ingredients and packaging, with certified organic plants, glass bottles, and paper-based shipping materials. Touchstone's plastic recovery and tree planting programs take place outside its supply chain, so they leave the products themselves unchanged.

Touchstone sources certified organic, non-GMO fruits, vegetables, and herbs, and buys from small farmers worldwide. USDA Organic certification on Super Green Juice, Essentials and Telo-Vital means the farms behind those ingredients limit synthetic fertilizers and pesticides to the few approved in organic regulations, and do not use sewage sludge, irradiation or genetically modified seeds (Agricultural Marketing Service).

The capsules Touchstone supplied to us came in amber glass bottles, and every order ships in paper-based materials, so these were all recyclable. Super Green Juice comes in a pouch, and Touchstone doesn't state what the pouch is made from.

Touchstone also funds the following environmental programs.

  • Plastic recovery: Touchstone has paid rePurpose Global to recover at least 92,000 lb (41,730 kg) of plastic headed for nature, and calls itself plastic-neutral, meaning it funds the removal of as much nature-bound plastic as it creates.
  • Reforestation: Touchstone has funded the planting of at least 25,000 trees through the nonprofit One Tree Planted.

Environment is Touchstone's highest-scoring area in its B Corp assessment, at 32.1 points, while our 4-week test checked how the products themselves perform.

Touchstone Essentials Review: Our 4-Week Test

Kim testing her supplement capsules from Touchstone Essentials

Touchstone Essentials did little for our tester overall, although she found every product easy to take and had more energy in her first two weeks. Kim's test began in September 2026.

Super Green Juice tastes like fruit juice, with no harsh green flavor and no clumps. The green juice won over Kim, who started the test skeptical of green drinks. Adding more water softens the flavor further. The zeolite drops and spray tasted mild, too. The capsules went down easily, without an aftertaste.

Kim felt more energetic from the first week, and noticed a small lift in her mood by week 2. She has irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and in week 1 the supplements calmed her stomach.

Kim's bathroom trips also became more frequent from the first week. By week 4, the trips were so frequent that Kim stopped taking the products, and she didn't notice any other side effects. Kim summed up her test as follows.

I'm not sure if the supplements are meant to clear out your stomach, but for me they did, and far too often. Everyone reacts differently to supplements, so if you already have stomach problems, be cautious about taking them.

Kim passed the rest of her supply to her aunt, who is health-conscious and has had a better experience. In a week and a half, Kim's aunt lost 5 lb (2.3 kg) and noticed improvements in her stomach, her mood, and her sleep quality.

In week 2, Kim recommended the set for anyone on a vegan diet or a healthier routine, while noting that everyone reacts differently. Her aunt felt the products working and Kim did not, so the evidence for whether Touchstone Essentials really works matters more than either result.

Does Touchstone Essentials Really Work?

Touchstone Essentials works in some ways for some people, and the evidence differs from one product to the next. We found no published human trials of the five products Kim tested, so the evidence comes from studies of their ingredients and of other brands' zeolite.

Touchstone claims its Zeolite Detox Pack brings more energy, better sleep, calmer digestion, and the removal of heavy metals. Touchstone also notes on its website that the FDA has not evaluated these claims.

Does Zeolite Detox Remove Heavy Metals?

Yes, purified zeolite cut how much lead the gut absorbed in a human trial, at a dose far higher than Pure Body supplies. Clinoptilolite, the zeolite in Pure Body drops and Pure Body Extra spray, is a volcanic mineral with a negative charge, which Touchstone says traps positively charged heavy metals so the body passes them out.

In a placebo-controlled trial of 42 healthy adults, a 2 g (0.07 oz) dose of purified clinoptilolite cut the amount of lead the gut absorbed by about 90% (Samekova et al., 2021). Pure Body contains 30 mg of zeolite per serving, or 90 mg a day at the adult dose, which is 4.5% of that trial dose. Pure Body Extra's label lists its zeolite by volume (0.64 mL per serving), so its dose cannot be compared.

The human study Touchstone links to found more heavy metals in the urine of 22 men in two groups who took a liquid zeolite for 7 days or 30 days (Flowers et al., 2009). The Flowers study compared the men with their own starting levels and did not include a placebo group.

What Does Super Green Juice Do?

Super Green Juice adds 44 organic plant ingredients, probiotics, and fiber to your diet in one 10 g (0.35 oz) scoop. The green juice combines four blends for alkalizing greens, detox and energy, digestive support, and antioxidants.

Each scoop of Super Green Juice contains about 1 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) of probiotics from four strains, plus inulin from Jerusalem artichoke, a prebiotic fiber that feeds gut bacteria. A scoop also provides 3 g (0.11 oz) of fiber and 1 g (0.04 oz) of natural sugar from the fruits and vegetables inside, with no added sugar.

Does Telo-Vital Slow Aging?

No, Telo-Vital has not been shown to slow aging, because it has not been tested in people. Dr. Bill Andrews, a longevity scientist, developed Telo-Vital from plant extracts that switched on telomerase in a lab test on human cells.

Telomerase is the enzyme that maintains telomeres, the protective caps at the ends of chromosomes that shorten each time a cell divides. Touchstone says most people see the best results from Telo-Vital after 90 days or more, more than three times the length of Kim's 4-week test.

Telo-Vital is meant for daily, long-term use, as are the zeolites, so the safety of taking Touchstone Essentials every day matters as much as the results.

Is Touchstone Essentials Safe?

Touchstone Essentials is a low-risk choice for most healthy adults, although our tester with IBS had frequent bowel movements while taking it. Touchstone uses whole-food and mineral ingredients, which suits you if you want to cut synthetic additives from your diet.

Super Green Juice gets its taste from organic raspberry and apple flavors, and the capsules in Essentials and Telo-Vital are made from pullulan, a vegan capsule material. Touchstone says Super Green Juice passes United States Pharmacopeia (USP) limits for heavy metals.

What Are the Side Effects of Touchstone Essentials?

Frequent bowel movements were the main side effect of Touchstone Essentials in our testing. The following side effects and precautions apply to the products Kim tested.

  • Super Green Juice: The green juice contains inulin, a type of fiber that a review of 11 trials found made flatulence worse in people with IBS (Wilson et al., 2019).
  • Pure Body and Pure Body Extra: Touchstone says zeolite draws in water and advises drinking 8 to 10 glasses of filtered water a day and taking a lower dose if headaches or tiredness appear.
  • Telo-Vital: Touchstone lists mild digestive discomfort as a possible side effect.

Touchstone lists the inulin in Super Green Juice inside a 2,043 mg (0.07 oz) blend, without giving its own amount. Kim's IBS makes the Wilson review relevant to her test, although the cause of her symptoms is unknown. Touchstone also warns that the first weeks of zeolite use can feel stronger for some people, and suggests easing in with fewer servings.

Does Zeolite Have FDA GRAS Status?

Yes, zeolite has FDA GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) status as an anti-caking agent in animal feed. Touchstone states on its product pages that natural clinoptilolite zeolite has GRAS status from the FDA.

FDA rules list hydrated sodium calcium aluminosilicate, a zeolite, as GRAS in animal feed at up to 2% of the feed (eCFR). In 2018, the agency accepted a company's conclusion that sedimentary clinoptilolite is safe as an anti-caking agent at up to 1% of the diet for cattle, sheep, goats, broiler chickens, turkeys, dogs and cats (FDA).

The FDA doesn't list clinoptilolite as GRAS for human supplements, as far as we could find.

Has Touchstone Essentials Been Sued?

Yes, Touchstone Essentials settled a California Proposition 65 claim in 2023 over lead in Organic Super Fiber, a product Kim did not test. Environmental Health Advocates alleged that Organic Super Fiber exposed Californians to lead without the health warning Proposition 65 requires (California Attorney General).

Touchstone denied the allegations and agreed to pay $4,500 in civil penalties plus $38,000 in legal fees and costs. Touchstone says Super Green Juice also carries a Prop 65 warning in California, because a scoop of concentrated plant powder is a large enough serving to reach the state's low warning threshold.

Who Should Not Take Touchstone Essentials?

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding or living with stomach problems, check with a doctor before taking Touchstone Essentials. The following groups need extra care with the Touchstone range.

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women: Touchstone states that Telo-Vital is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, and that zeolite has not been studied in pregnant or nursing women.
  • Children: Telo-Vital is for adults aged 18 and over, while Touchstone gives smaller child doses for its zeolite drops and spray.
  • People with stomach problems: frequent bowel movements were the one side effect in our testing, from a tester with IBS.
  • People taking turmeric: Touchstone advises waiting 4 to 6 hours between regular turmeric and Telo-Vital, because curcumin can block telomerase.

Healthy adults buying Touchstone Essentials pay the lowest prices on a monthly subscription.

Is Touchstone Essentials Worth It?

Touchstone Essentials is worth it for healthy adults looking for organic, whole-food greens and vitamins, but the zeolite detox products are hard to justify on current evidence.

Kim praised Super Green Juice most, and its certified organic plants suit a clean, plant-based wellness routine. The low zeolite dose in Pure Body, compared with the trial dose above, weakens the case for the detox products.

Our guide to the 13 best wellness brands compares alternatives tested by real families.

Thousands of Touchstone Essentials customers have reviewed the products on its website, giving a wider view than one tester.

What Do Customers Say About Touchstone Essentials?

Customers mostly praise Touchstone Essentials, with the brand reporting at least 55,000 five-star reviews, while a small number of complaints concern deliveries, products and billing. Pure Body Extra has 7,718 reviews, the most of the products Kim tested.

The reviews Touchstone features on its homepage credit the products with more energy, less bloating and better digestion. The homepage reviews match Kim's first week, when she had more energy and a calmer stomach.

The Better Business Bureau recorded 12 complaints against Touchstone in the 3 years to November 2026, and none in the last 12 months. The complaints cover delivery problems (4), product problems (4), billing (2), and service (2).

Kim's stomach trouble and the BBB complaints both point to problems a short list of buyers can avoid, which shapes who Touchstone Essentials is right for.

Conclusion: Is Touchstone Essentials Right for Me?

Touchstone Essentials suits adults with settled digestion who want organic, plant-based nutrition from a B Corp brand, but people with sensitive stomachs or a need for clinical proof are better served elsewhere.

Choose Touchstone Essentials if:

  • You want certified organic, whole-food supplements in recyclable glass bottles.
  • You want a green drink that tastes like fruit juice.
  • You are a healthy adult who is not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are happy to use the 30-day refund if the products disagree with you.

Touchstone Essentials is not for you if:

  • You have IBS or another existing stomach problem.
  • You want a heavy metal detox with clinical proof at the dose you take.
  • You need Telo-Vital to show results within a month.
  • You want the cheapest way to get greens and vitamins.

Brands like Touchstone can help you find a wellness routine that suits your body and the planet.
